建築の授業課題がきっかけで能楽に興味を持ち、東京大学大学院の学生たちが主催するワークショップに参加。淡路島での能楽公演に関わりました。この公演は地元の新聞や建築雑誌「CONFORT」に取り上げられました。
「闇」についての研究
The study of the notion about Dark
In the world of Noh, there is the light surrounded by dark. In the dark, the light appears and fades away emptily. It is expressed the empty world by waver of water, the shape of Noh performer appears by lines of ripples in the dark. At the traditional stages, Shirasu White stones mean rippling waves. By creating the boundary between earth and hereafter, they created the place “Yu-gen”.
SYSTEM
1. Implant the sensor which can read vibrations under the stage of Noh performance.
2. Those vibrations read by Personal Computer are change to vibrations of water in the water tank.
3. The light from projector implanted under the water tank, is reflected by the mirror implanted at the celling of Noh stage. It is reflected the waver of water to the stage.
4. The vibration from moving of Noh performer becomes the element of light, it makes waver and new place at the stage.
