卒業制作展で初めてメディアアート作品を制作しました。
赤外線センサーとDirectorを使用した水のインターフェイスをつくり、水に触れると映し出される紅葉のアニメーションとリアルの波紋がかさなることで幻想的な空間が生まれます。
From the old days, people have used water to express about everything. That has irregular or mathematically regular moving. Also water has two-faced nature on the penetratiou and reflexiou points. It changes a shape with times, we can touch it but we can’t catch it. I think the fluidity abstracts human mind, it is the best material being able to purify light. It’s common thing like light, but it remains the most original form in the natural world.
We feel that nature things are special things connecting senses and seasons. The maple in autumn remaind of solitude ‘Sabi’ in Japanese. Japanese people tend to sorrow ended emptiness and love it, for example ‘Sabi’. It likes the Japanese temper. Red leaves are fluttering and falling above calm water like mirror.
